18. Theophilus London - Timez are weird these days

Love is real. Probabilmente non è l’album giusto per la diciottesima posiziona, ma personalmente l’idea di un hip-hop indie-friendly (BBC) fatto da un tizio nato a Trinidad mi piace. // Love is real. Probably it’s not the right album for the 18th position, but I personally like the strange idea of a “indie-friendly hip-hop” (BBC) by a guy born in Trinidad.

Bé, sarai anche la miglior artista r’n’b-pop nel mondo, ma non è abbastanza per guadagnarsi la vetta nelle chart. Devi essere un po’ zoccoletta, perchè, non dimenticartelo, eri una DESTINY’S CHILD. Stop. // Bé, you’re the best r’n’b-pop artist in the world, but it’s not enough for a good placement in a chart. You need to be slutty, because you’ve not to forget that you were A DESTINY’S CHILD. Stop. 

16. Metronomy - The English Riviera

Quest’album mi è piaciuto subito, e mi sentivo cool. Poi non l’ho ascoltato più, perchè credo sia già dentro me. // I loved this album immediately, and i felt cool. Then, I haven’t listened to it anymore, ‘cause I think it’s already inside me. 

15. Useless Wooden Toys - Piatto Forte

Testi italiani per criticare la società italiana a tttempo di ddddance. Perchè i featuring (14!) mi piacciono. // Italian lyrics to criticize the Italian society with dance rhythms. ‘Cause I love featurings (14!).

Un grande classico che sa rinnovarsi, ma neanche troppo. Sono sempre bellissimi. // A classic who’s able to renew its music (but not too much). They’re always so beautiful!

12. I’m from Barcelona - Forever Today

Ho visto un sacco di live meravigliosi nel 2011, ma sicuramente quello degli I’m from Barcelona, visti all’Hana-Bi, è stato il più divertente. E il disco è figo, mi piacciono tanto in generale ma il top lo raggiungono qui e nel primissimo album. // I’ve seen a lot of beautiful concerts in 2011, but surely this one (at Hana-Bi, in Marina di Ravenna) was the funniest. And the album it’s fantastic, I love IFB and their music but this album and first one are the best.

11. SBTRKT - SBTRKT

E’ il mio periodo dub-popstep e quest’album è perfetto. La musica che vorrei sentire ovunque, specialmente dal parrucchiere. // It’s my dub-popstep period and this album it’s a real surprise. The music I want to hear everywhere, especially at the hairdresser shop.
